Youth Club

Starting Friday 17th April Back will finally have its own Youth Club again. Catering for Primary age children initially, the club will be split into two age groups: P1-3 and P4-7 running from 7-8:30pm on a Friday night during term time.

Children must be registered as a member before they can attend, and have an adult willing to go on the rota. Anyone wanting to join who hasn’t already registered should contact Louise on 01851 820745 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for a form.

Each session costs £2 and will be split into 45 mins of sports and games in the hall and 45 mins of activities in one of the meeting rooms. There will also be the all-important Tuck Shop.

Back Art Together

We are a group of individuals who all enjoy art. We get together once a month to get creative in a social setting. Some months we will have a particular topic or a demostration from someone in the group but we also just meet up and try something new or work on our own project.

The session satrts at 10.30 and usually runs until about 12.30-1ish when we stop for a bowl of soup.

Football Development Club Mondays 6-7pm / 7-8.15pm (term time only)

Our aim is to encourage as many children as possible in the Broadbay area to improve their fitness and general health, learn football skills and life lessons through sport.

The club is now full and we are currently operating a waiting list. Spaces do come up during the year, though there may be a small wait, so if you are intersted in joining us please so please contact Terri in the first instance on 820745 This email address is being protected from spambots. Island Archers, Wednesday 7-9pm

Archery is a sport for all ages and abilities, and we would like to hear from anyone who always wanted to give it a go, but never quite got round to it, or was too shy, or whatever. Don't worry, we're very friendly, and we never take it too seriously, although we do insist that safety procedures are strictly adhered to AT ALL TIMES by everyone.

We are in the process of reviving our Junior section, but since we have to have a robust child and vulnerable adult's protection policy (a necessary evil in this day-and-age), we would ask all under 18s to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, to be legally responsible for them for all the time that they are with us.

Book Club –  First Thursday of the month

The book club meets once a month at the centre, usually on the first Thursday of the month.

It’s a very informal and relaxed club and new members are welcome any time.

Books are provided courtesy of the library reading group scheme.
